A: The weirdest thing I’ve ever used as a bookmark was my son’s piece of hair. I found one strand of his long hair between the pages of a book he lent me to read. I didn’t have the heart to throw it away, so I continued to use it as a bookmark and every time I opened that book, it was like a little reminder of him, making me smile. #askmeanything #weirdbookmarks #readerslife #loveofbooks

Yes. The first book I ever read without outside influences was called Šesnaestogodišnjakinja. I was in fifth grade then. I went to a library and checked out that book. I thought I was being so sneaky and felt like I was breaking the law, haha. I was about eleven years old at the time, and the book was about a sixteen-year-old girl from Germany who got pregnant and was disowned by her family... I've thought about that book often throughout my life. #askmeanything

A: On several occasions, I almost died, yet I didn't. These encounters have instilled in me a sense of optimism. Moreover, my lighthearted nature adds to this outlook—I'm quite the goofball.

Thanks for your kind words. I've encountered some wonderful people and some who were not so nice. All of my characters are based on someone I've known, particularly those in my first novel, Remember Me. The main character in each of my novels resembles me a lot, which is why I prefer writing in the first person. I immerse myself in the story to explore my emotions deeply. This approach allows me to create characters that are highly relatable.

A: No, believe it or not, I’m not a very good story “teller”. I am an excellent story writer, but I am really bad at talking, haha, if that makes any sense. Also, I hate camping. We did, however, sit around a fire in the living room once. Not a wise idea. 🙂

A: Hey there! Let me tell you why I landed in the writer's seat. If I tried my hand at cooking, my dishes would likely stage a mutiny against me. And picture this: me as a pilot? Let's just say the friendly skies might turn a bit grumpy. So, here I am, typing away like there's no tomorrow because, thank goodness, words don't crash and burn or cause any tummy troubles! 🙂 Writing is all I have.

What I really hope readers will grasp from my books is the deep-seated belief in the inherent meaning of life. I want them to understand that truth isn't fragmented into "yours" or "mine" but rather, there's a singular truth that unites us all. Above all, I want my writing to instill a sense of hope, showing that no matter what obstacles we face, there's always a glimmer of light to guide us forward.
